Success magnet for innovative blood cleaning.

With its ground breaking blood cleaning technology, Hemotune has given a strong impulse into the medtech branch and in this way has made a valuable contribution to combating sepsis. The ambitious Swiss enterprise is a spin-off of Wyss Zurich and the ETH Zurich.

We were able to bring in our experience of many years in the medtech field, in particular in the area of dialysis device design, at an early stage of the project. As designers we see ourselves as very fortunate to be able to help actively shape the future and to be able to develop such ground-breaking solutions.

In close, multidisciplinary cooperation, we developed the design of the Hemodevice, – from the device itself to the user interface. The reduced design enables an optimum degree of user friendliness and its aesthetic imparts a succinct identity to the system.
