Smart bike parking for a connected infrastructure.

An appropriate infrastructure is the prerequisite for climate-friendly mobility with bicycles and e-bikes. In addition to cycle paths, new concepts are required if an increasing number of bicycles in urban areas are to be accommodated compactly and safely.

Together with the Zurich start-up v-locker, we developed an automated parking system. This couples simple technology with demanding design and smart mobility solutions.

The intuitive handling is done by using a smartphone app. This app displays the nearest station with free parking spaces, reserves a box and opens the access door.

The modular towers fit into the local environment optimally by means of individual facade design. With this project we make our contribution to attractive town planning and support a sustainable traffic transition.
